Pause...This Sunday

This Sunday we are doing something new at tpiclongview called "Pause... Express yourself!" Instead of Pastor Doc preaching we are allowing different people to come up and tell what they've learned and applied since being a part of the church. Five people (or couples) will share about 3-5 min each. This is not testimony but a time of ministry. Kinda like when the teacher have students to come up and read an essay paper to the class on what they've learned.

3 benefits of this:

1. It's keep us from being traditional and IT being about one personality. It shows a new dynamic on what "church" is all about.

2. It's a part of the discipleship process. Keeps people studying, etc. I'll be doing this periodically.

3. It's a great time to invite new guest. New guest will be able to see that this is a church that has a heart to see people grow and express what they've learned.

There will still be worship, altar ministry, and prayer. Pastor doc will do "Pause" periodically throughout the year at both campuses. Get ready to Express Yourself!

I want to thank God for leading me to The Place International Church. I started attending this church in 2006. I knew I needed to get into church because I wanted to learn the truth. Pastor Murphy taught me truth, how to pray, about the Holy Spirit and how to seek God.

I grew up in the Jehovah's Witness religion where we were taught that God did not hear our prayers unless we were a baptized Jehovah's Witness, that there was no such thing as the Trinity, that everything outside the Jehovah's Witness religion was false.

When I was eighteen years old, I was sexually harrassed by one of the elders of the Kingdom Hall church I attended. I reported it to the other elders in the congregation and of course the person who sexually harrassed me lied about it, and I was told that it was his word against mine.

This was when I turned away from God. A few years later, I attended a christian university and received my first real Bible. Eventually, I started reading it. It was funny how everytime I opened my Bible, it opened to Genesis 12, the call of Abram. I took those words as a promise to me. A couple years later, I got saved while watching The Passion of the Christ movie. I did not know I had said the prayer of salvation until a few years later.

A couple years later, I started attending the Outreach Tabernacle, which is now the Place International Church. I attended with a friend who would eventually lead me astray about the church, telling me lies about almost everyone in the church. God started asking me to sit and read about wisdom in Proverbs 8. While reading, I would hear the conversation of other members of the church, learning that everything my so-called friend had told me was a lie. Shortly after, God moved me away from that person. I gave up everything to go back home and learn what God needed me to learn before I could begin to move forward. I learned that everything I had been taught was a lie and the devil had built up such a great wall of lies and deceit around me that I could not see the truth.

It took four years to break through every lie, every curse, every hex, spell and act of witchcraft that had been used against me to keep me absolutely ignorant of God.

I am thankful that God held on to me and did not let me go. I am thankful that God led me to the Place International Church to learn truth. I am thankful for every person that has prayed for me during this time of growth.

Now in 2012, it's time for a new start with the Place International Church. I promise to pray for this church daily, and stand with this church for whatever you are believing God for, because I know that truth is here.

"50 days in the upper room" explained:

When does 50 days start? Jan 1-Feb 19 (Feb 19th we will celebrate with testimonies, worship, fellowship, and an encouraging word from pastor doc).

What are the goals for 50 days? Revival in our church: Spiritual growth and discipline among members. People getting free from addictions. People saved and baptized. A number of people filled with Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Leaders emerging. Church attendance and finances increasing. More people evangelizing and serving in the city.

Why 50 days? Pentecost means "the 50th day". We are expecting what happened on the DAY of Pentecost to happen in our church.

Quick Study: Pentecost: Πεντηκοστή [ἡμέρα], Pentēkostē [hēmera], "the Fiftieth [day]") is a prominent feast in the calendar of Ancient Israel celebrating the giving of the Law on Sinai, and also later in the Christian Lituragul Year commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Christ after the Resurrection of Jesus. Pentecost is celebrated seven weeks (50 days) after Easter (Passover) Sunday, hence its name.

Among Christians, Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the 12 apostles and other followers of Jesus as described in the Acts of the Apostles 2:1-31. For this reason, Pentecost is sometimes described as the "Birthday of the Church."

Scripture Reference for 50 days: Acts 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

3 majors that will happen during 50 days in the upper room:

50 days of community prayer and fellowship among the believers. Everyone is encouraged to pray with a prayer partner for 50 days. You can do this through telephone or go to one another's house. Pray for church members and the leadership each day. Pray over your social media pages and fellowship with believers. We will pray each week before and during our worship services. We will also host fellowships after worship services. We will be praying for laborers to go into the field and evangelize. We will also pray for people to be delivered from addictions and bad habits. Eph. 6:18

Fasting. we will fast the first 21 days of the 50 days. Fasting brings your flesh under subjection and opens your spiritual ears to hear from the Holy Spirit. We will fast at least one meal a day. Some can do two meals. Whatever you feel led to do. The point is to fast for 21 days-seeking God through prayer, listening to God in silence, and feeding your spirit the Word of God. make your flesh bow to the authority of the Word. We will fast for our church (the members, our vision, and leadership), revival, our cities, our nation, loved ones, clarity on decisions, healing, financial breakthroughs, and deliverance. 2 Chronicles 20:3, Is. 58:5-11

50 days of discipline. Our purpose is to lead people into becoming DISCIPLES of Jesus Christ. Disciples are "disciplined ones". We are challenging everyone to do 50 days away from the television or computer. The only shows we are encouraging to watch are: preaching (spirit-filled/faith preachers like: Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jerry Savelle, IV Hillard, Dr. Leroy Thompson, Bill Winston, Mark Hankins, Bishop Keith Butler), worship videos, and Christian movies. We encourage you to watch World Revival Church (Pastor Steve Gray) on the internet each week or everyday. Read Christian books and magazines only. Listen to worship music only (Israel Houghton, Planet Shakers, Lakewood, Hillsong, etc.) This type of discipline will charge your spirit, put your flesh under subjection, and cause you to grow spiritually like never before. You'll experience your own personal revival. 1 Peter 2:1-2, Gal 5:16-17

10 ways to know that you TRULY love your church...

You're there not ONLY because the Lord led you there but you actually WANT to be there and you love being there!
You tithe and give the offering.
You are willing to get involved (serve) in the church with no strings attached. You find where you fit and serve with JOY.
You respect the pastor and submit to his authority.
You hear with "spiritual ears" while the pastor is teaching and you apply the teachings of the pastor.
You love and encourage others in the church.
You live Holy outside of the church to make sure the church keeps a good name.
You don't conspire against the leadership.You don't let others talk about the pastor and the way things are run in the church. You actually rebuke them and stop them in their tracks.
9. You actually attend faithfully and INVITE other people to your church consistently. you never "wonder why it isn't growing" if you're not INVITING. You'll take the responsibility on yourself and say, "It's not growing because I'M not inviting consistently.
10. You run with the vision of the church and connect your personal vision with the church's vision.

Revival is in THE PLACE!!!

A promise of REVIVAL was given to me in 2008 for our church. I believe it's happening. I believe the Lord said that I would leave longview and go plant a new campus in plano and then return to longview to plant a fresh new work and as a result REVIVAL would break out. Folks we are seeing it happen. Threre is a "spiritual hunger" like I haven't seen in any era of my ministry. The people of TPIC are hungry for THE WORD, for change, for newness, for GOD!. "They that hunger and thirst after righteouss shall be filled!!"

We have baptized 10 people and about 6 people have gotten saved since we started in Sept of 2010 (both locations combined). We started with under 10 people and we did 43 people in longview on Sunday!

It's amazing to see God move in our church. Our video teachings are working in both locations. Our vision is happening and I can tell the people are excited. Our children are being taught the word in a very fun, exciting, and challenging environment. We have some great themes lined up for our children. The kids are excited about Kidsplace and it's making a difference in their lives. The adults who are working with the kids are doing a wonderful job.

We are also growning financially and have been able to pay for all of our bills with what's coming in on Sunday Mornings. Great job church. Thanks for your obedience in giving. It takes money and alot of it for our vision. We are looking to lease a building in longview by Nov. Lets keep it up and get into our own place this winter!

Our staff is doing an awesome job. I've never had a solid staff like I have now in the history of my ministry. I'm talking about a team that REALLY loves God and the Church. I've had people who did the job but they didn't love God, the church, me, our guest, sinners, or other members. But this group loves the vision and will do what it takes to get it to come to pass (even if it means changing things about themselves). Our team cares about the ministry and the people we are trying to reach. God bless all of you who have recently come on board. You're doing great!

Revival is happening and we are going to ride the wave.

One more thing: We are believing God for new cameras, a couple of computers, and equipment to do live services in superb quality. Lets do it by Nov!

What an explosive time at the longview campus on Sunday! Those people are rowdy. Thanks to all of our new guests for showing up. We are growing and revival is happening! This Sunday Pastor Doc will be at the plano campus. Plano come out for a great time in Jesus! Longview will watch Pastor Doc on the Big Screen. It's going to be an awesome service.

Get excited because we have a summer prepared that is going to be SIZZILING!

July 6th is our RE-vive and Thrive Wed service at the Main Event in plano. Starts at 7pm.
Saturday, July 9th is our first Church Reunion. We will host it in Canton or Tyler. TBA. Time: 12:00 noon. This is an opportunity to connect both campuses for fellowship, fun, and vision casting. We will eat, play games, have karaoke, worship, talent show for kids, and listen to Pastor Doc cast the vision for TPIC! We will let you know all the details soon. We are asking FOR 100% participation in this great FAMILY REUNION!
We also have a FishFry event planned, hurrican harbor trip for the kids, and friday night bowling. We will let you know all the times, locations, and dates soon.

This Sunday in longview we will ordain Lisa Hayes as our Church Administrator. Come out and support her. This is a huge task and it will require alot of prayer and support. This wed we are hosting Circle Groups in plano at the park behind Cornerstone Ranch Apt. Meet at Pastor Doc's place at 6:50pm. Circle starts at 7pm. Bring food and drinks. We will discuss, and fellowship. Daniel Slaughter will be the host this week! Gonna be a fun time.

TPC Longview is in the process of looking at a new building to move into possibly by July 10th. The meeting place is called "That Place". LOL! THE PLACE AT THAT PLACE! We are praying and seeing what God wants us to do. It is a great location, can seat over 200 people, great facility, neighborhood full of unchurched people, and plenty of space for children and different fellowships! Keep praying for God's direction.

I want a new marriage has been an incredible series for our church and much needed. We are seeing people come to the altars for prayer but better yet a closer walk with Jesus.

We are understanding that our relationships will not stand unless we place them under the authority of the Word of God. Next Sunday we will continue our series. Pastor will give steps that will help take your marriage to the next level.

We are gaining and gaining momentum!

We are really gaining momentum on Sunday mornings at both locations. Momentum is important but more importantly is building off of the momentum. As a church we should invite, encourage, and give like never before uring this season. We will really see God do amazing things as we work with Him and ride this wave that He's given us.

Worship is developing great, our staff and leadership is developing, our videos are looking better, and the excitment is growing. As we present the best worship services with what we have, we are making it easier for the people to invite their friends and family to the church.

Lets treat each Sunday like it matters and treat it as if it is a BIG SUNDAY.

Video Teaching at tpiclongview went well...Devin Lemons at tpicplano...

Wow! What an explosion at both locations on yesterday!

At tpiclongview we hosted our first Sunday with video teaching. Pastor Doc taught on faith and it was a great time. The people really enjoyed and responded well to the video. The atmosphere was charged. Testimonies broke out after worship which left people with tears and a sense of victory and hope. The leadership team and volunteers did great and felt a great unity among church members. Way to go tpiclongview!

At tpicplano we hosted Devin Lemons former NFL linebacker. He shared his story and 2 people committed to Christ! Devin is a great guy with a great family and is an example of how God can turn any situation around! We will show the video of Devin this Sunday at tpiclongview.

Our worship band was awesome on Sunday. Timothy Jordan has stepped up and is doing a fantastic job. We saw numerical growth and we are expecting to see the church continue to grow and experince increase in both locations.

Pastor Doc is confident that the church will grow to 75 to 100 active people by the end of the year in both locations.

This Sunday @ tpicplano we will be hosting Devin Lemons (former NFL linebacker for the Washington Redskins). We are calling it SundayBlitz! Devin is going to share his story and his faith. We will have great worship and fellowship. Each kid will receive an autographed mini-football from Devin and we will also be doing a drawing for an autographed Troy Aikman football.

Our kids will start a new series called "Amazing Faith". It's going to be great as they learn the basics of faith in a fun and exciting way.

Come early for coffee and donuts. Service starts at 10am. Bring a friend!

This Sunday at tpiclongview we will doing our first Video teaching from Pastor Doc. Pastor Doc will be teaching from the subject "According to your faith". It's going to be great. March Gladness at TPIC. We will host a spectacular service with Devin Lemons ex NFL linebacker for the Washington Redskins on March 6 @ tpicplano and March 13 @ tpiclongview (re-cap Video). All kids and teenagers will receive an autographed mini-football. Wear your favorite team colors or jersey! March 26 is "feed the need" grocery giveaway. We are asking every member, guest, and friends of tpic to join together to buy a bag of groceries for one family on this day. Share the love of Christ with your neighbor. This will be a great opportunity to share Christ and also invite the person (family) to church.

We will launch a New Sermon Series called "I want a new Marriage" which will start on March 13 at tpicplano and March 20 at tpiclongview! This series will be a blessing to married couples and give singles and couples practical and spiritual insight on how to have a great marriage once that day comes.

We are also launching a new March series for our FaithKidz called "Amazing Faith". It's gonna be an awesome time for our Children.

Hello folks,

Our Radical Campaign has been a blessing to our church as well as the community. It' great to see people serve their communities, witness, and invite people to church. We have one young lady who is out getting Radical for Christ in Longview, Tx. Lisa Hayes shared this testimony today:

"I also wanted to tell you about some of things I have been doing. I have been volunteering at the Newgate Mission on Mobberly St. They serve lunch to the community I think 7 days a week, but I go once or twice a week and help them serve and prepare food and also clean up afterwards. IT FEELS SOOOOOO GOOD TO ME TO BE ABLE TO HELP AND ITS AMAZING TO ME BECAUSE IM NOT GETTING PAID BUT I STILL WANT TO DO IT!!! Today I went and after we cleaned up and everything I gave out about 10 of the witnessing tracs to people out there and It just felt great. So I have been learning a lot from the ministry and from the Radical Book and I cant wait for what else God has in store for me to do!"

Lets all praise God for what He's doing in and through this willing vessel. Keep up the great work Lisa!

Our Radical Campaign is going great! Peopel are sharing the Gospel through blogs, facebook, twitter, our social network, face to face evangelism, inviting people to church, and serving. Way to go TPIC!

Lets continue to stay Radical for the next few weeks. lets continue to witness, serve, and invite. We can still reach our goal of 100 people attending the church by Dec. 26. Remember Dec 26 is our Celebration Sunday and we will share the vision for 2011 and host our last membership class.

Small groups are going great. Be sure to attend those groups. Our Radical Groups are going to witness on the streets and serve in nursing homes. Great way to reach people for Jesus.

Creative ways to share your faith face to face

Keys to being effective talking

1. Make common Ground. Talk normal before you talk Super. But never talk too long about carnal things (football games, fashion, etc.)
2. Remember you own the conversation. Take control and be willing to ask the tough questions (Are you SAVED?).
3. Listen. You must be willing to listen to the person. You will know how to minister to the person properly if you simply listen to them.
4. Always be prepared by studying foundational Scriptures about Salvation.
5. Show genuine love and compassion and not THE FAKE mechanical love.

Creative ways that open the door to a conversation:

1. Have a house party. People might not come to church but they will come to your house! Be sure to have food and drinks (not Vodka!). Invite your neighbors, co workers, family, and friends over for a fellowship. This is a great way to reach alot of people at the same time if it is done effectively. Eat, talk, play games, listen to music (Christian ONLY) and ask anyone if they would like for you to pray with them about anything and then talk about Salavation. Pass out Witnessing tracs and invite cards. You can be as creative as you want.
2. Start a book club with unchurched people. Read a Christian book together and in the discussions talk about Salvation and invite them into a relationship with Jesus. Do the book club at starbucks, your house, etc.
3. Start a phone ministry. I've witnessed and prayed with so many people over the phone. I simply called friends and talked to them over the phone about Jesus.
4. Hit the streets. Walk through apt complexes, neighborhoods, parks, college campuses, etc. and start talking to people. Ask them if you can talk with them after you introduce yourself. ask if they are saved and if they died today if they have the assurance that they are going to Heaven. This approach is more aggressive and raw. You have to be ready to be RADICAL for street ministry like this. I don't advise this if you haven't fasted, prayed up, studied the scriptures, and built up the confidence to do it. Be sure to take your follow up cards, evangelism training phamplet, witnessing tracs, and invite cards.
5. Personally invite people to church and let God do the rest in that church service. Personal invites are the best because you are able to build a relationship with the person and follow up with them properly. Also people trust you (when they have a relationship with you) and know that they will know someone (you) when they attend the church.
6. Go to hospitals, nursing homes, etc. and pray for people to be healed and then share your faith with them.
7. Serve your comunity through giving (food, clothes, gifts, etc). Share your faith to whom you give to.
8. Get involved in prison or jail ministry. I have been able to see many come to Christ through preaching and sharing Jesus in the prisons. You don't have to be a minister to get into the jails to minister.

We have 6 weeks of serving, sharing, and giving during our Radical Campaign. This will be a huge challenge for our church. We understand that some of you are new to sharing your faith and may be a little intimidated talking with strangers or family members about Jesus. Anyway, we have created some creative ways and platforms for sharing your faith and testimony without talking to people face to face. But understand this is not for you to never talk to people, but it is a simple way to help you share the gospel of salvation to people.

Start blogging. Blogs are a great way to share your thoughts to the world. Start a blog and go after followers. I use http://www.blogger.com/ Use the "God's plan is better than yours" witnessing trac to get started. You can ask Michele Benson to email it to you and you can just simply copy and paste it into your blog. Michele's email is michelebenson@luckymail.com
Use Twitter to post salvation nuggets.
Go to social networks like myspace, mocospace, and facebook where there are alot of unchurched people and do blog post, bulletins, and notes. Great way to reach alot of people (alot of unsaved people).
Send the witnessing trac to your email contacts that are unsaved. Ask them to read it and let you know their thoughts. Follow up with them and invite them to church.
Get a list of names of people that you want to invite to church. Invite them to church through email, facebook, text messages,etc. And pray that they will come forward to receive Jesus during the altar call.
Create a youtube or vimeo channel and share the gospel through video. On each video invite the people to church for further discipleship. On the video simply preach the "God's plan is better than yours" or whatever is on your heart. Make sure it's Biblical and Truth.
Create an online radio station with www.blogtalkradio.com and start sharing the gospel or your testimony, or simply interview other Christians. It's a great platform that I use to preach and teach the Word of Faith.
Write articles on different online press release and article companies. use free press release, neighborsgo (plano only), and other ones you will have to goggle to find.
Send text messages to your unsaved contacts.

1. A relationship with GOD that can't be shaken by circumstances, people, or fear.

2. Direction from God that's clear. Never listen to people who don't have a faith walk with God themseleves. They will give you common sense advice ONLY.

3. Guts! confidence (faith) produces guts. you can't be weak and insecure. The devil will eat you up alive if you are.

4. A passion to see your nation, your family, the world, your friends transformed into the image of Almighty God.

5. Wisdom. Wisdom is knowledge used properly. You have to have wisdom on how to Go, where to Go, how to minister to certain people, when to step back, when to go forward.

Here's an overview of the radical Campiagn. We are excited about reaching our communities through evangelism and servolution. Remember to sign up for the campaign, buy your book "Radical" by David Platt and join a small group. We will send you info either by email or mail about the location, days, and times of your small group this week and next week. You will be able to go to your group the week of Nov 21st. It's gonna be fun and a life-changing campaign.

THE RADICAL CAMPAIGN

A 6 week Spiritual Growth and Evangelism Campaign
The Date: Nov. 21-Dec 26 ( 6 weeks)

The Goal: 150 Salvations/Baptisms. 100 attending tpic for further discipleship. 100% of our members active in serving the community and evangelism.

The Challenge: This Campaign is designed to challenge and train the church in Evangelism (sharing the Gospel with strangers, friends, and family), and Servolution projects (random acts of kindness). Lets become the Church of Jesus THE Christ!

Theme: Live Loud. Live Bold. Live Like Jesus. Radical!

HOW IT WORKS:
Everyone will read the book Radical for the 6 weeks. We will read 2 chapters a week for the first 3 weeks and then one chapter a week for the last 3 weeks. We are asking everyone to buy 2 books ($20). One for you and one for someone else. We are asking everyone to read only the chapters assigned for the week and not to move ahead of everyone.

We will launch 5-star life groups. We will ask everyone to join a small group. The groups are designed to study the previous Sunday's message, fellowship, accountability, worship, and ACTION. Each Group will go out into the community to serve and evangelize. We will need group Hosts. Groups can be hosted at houses, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

Everyone will be given a TPIC T-Shirt and should wear it when going to witness or servolute.

We will use our own Social Network for testimonies, online fellowship, training, and online witnessing.

We will have scripture memory verses weekly.

Everyone will get Evangelism Training materials.

Everyone who participates will have to sign a "Vow" Card. This Card is YOUR Vow to God that you will abandon all for 6 weeks for the cause of Spreading the Gospel and helping those that are in need.

Something different for the Christmas Season:

We will Challenge everyone to buy Walmart Gift Cards and give them to random people during the Christmas Season. Example: Commit to $60 and buy 3 $20 gift cards and give it to 3 different people. The creativity is endless.

We will fast from entertainment for 6 weeks (unless it is Christian based). We will challenge everyone to: Study the Bible more, Read Radical, Pray, fast, focus on evangelism and serving, worship, and Watch Christian Movies/Videos ONLY.

We will show videos of testimonies and evangelism and serving efforts on Sunday mornings.

Everyone will get a copy of the NEW Song "Lets Win The World" by Pastor Doc.

PATIENCE IN THE STORMS

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.5 Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus.

• There are certain Scriptures given to us as a testimony of how other Saints overcame trials and storms. They teach us illustrated messages of faith and endurane. It builds patience in us (gives us a hope that says I will endure through this storm and make it out).

What a great day today at tpic. We baptized two people (Schemya and Anitria) after our longview worship service. We had 10 join the church (both locations combined) and we are seeing God move in the lives of His people in a powerful way. Thanks to our team and volunteers.

We are launching a singles ministry and Tuesday night Bible Study on Oct 5th in longview. Tpic plano is growing and showing interest of a Bible Study, but we will look to launch a strong small group ministry before the year is out.

The Place has launched two campuses and a FaithStore conference all in the same week! We will continue to go after the vision and see God move like never before. This past Sunday 2 people got saved and signed up for baptism in longview. We also had 4 sign up for membership in plano. We had great crowds in both locations. Plano experienced the video teaching for the first time and loved it! It's exciting to see the vision come to pass! Sowing the right attitude

It's a seed pt. two Sowing the right attitude
We must understand the imporatnce of giving to God from the affection of our heart toward Him...If you are giving toward God with the wrong attitude you will attract lack. Deut. 28:47-48

Sowing seed starts from the heart then to the mouth and then to your actions. So I must get my heart transformed. My attitude must change from within.

Your attitude will determine how high you go. You have to have a delightful commitment towards God.

Notice the judgement is in the seed. We must plant the right seeds with the right attitude.

You may be doing all the things you're suppose to do but your not doing it with the right attitude.

Jer. 23:36 When you see serving God as a burden then you have the wrong attitude. God is not giving burdens, He's removing them!

If I'm a burden to you let me know. Noone wants to be a burden. God doesn't want to be a burden to you. He's trying to be a blessing not a burden. You have to see it that way. The blessing comes with responsibility and commitment with gratefulness.

II Cor. 9:6-11 the seed doesn't have a good future until you WANT TO! You have to want to give, want to serve, want to live HOLY and pure, want to love your spouse, want to discipline your children (the Godly way), want to fulfill your purpose (and not want to fulfill the one you make up for yourself), want to speak faith filled words, want to exercise and keep your weight under control, and want to manage and invest your money properly.

Whatever is a burden will become a duty and never a lifestyle. You'll quit a duty, you stay frustrated,and you'll get burned out if it's a burden to you.

Walking by faith is the way the believr should live. It's not an option but a command. At the place international church we make it our BUSINESS to do our best to live according to the Word of Faith.

We have some faith ventures that are gaining momentum and we are seeing lives changed. Last Sunday's services at our two locations were awesome!

We are looking forward to the Aug 22nd service in Longview. The official launch is Sept. 19th. We are on a mission to teach East Texas faith and see many lives healed and transformed by the power of the Word.

TPIC plano is looking forward to a great Aug with plans of another family fun day (Aug 8th) and servolution on Aug. 28.

We're excited to announce our new Online Facebook Campus! We will be launching it this Sunday. Service times are 10 am and 5 pm. The Facebook Campus is a unique church experience. Online Church goers will be able to watch the service live and also stay connected to their facebook friends and family while enjoying church. They will be able to discuss church and even invite others to church on facebook without leaving the online church experience. We also have a note sheet for users to take notes and send them to their email, prayer request, and an online Bible to follow the message. Church goers will also be able to give their tithes and offerings (securely) online. I believe our facebook campus will provide a unique and effective experience.

What a time we had on Sunday! Minister William Nolan and his wife Courtney were a blessing to us. William preached a dynamic message and really encouraged the congregation to live a life of Worship (even if you have a limp, ha). Worship was great and the atmosphere felt great. It's awesome to see God take something that was just a seed and begin to cause it to grow. Don't miss this Sunday. We will be hearing once again from Minister Nolan! Starts at 10 am

The growth at tpic is only a GOD THING (of course us working with His plan). But I've also noticed that the growth is happening while an exodus is taking place! I love Exoduses, lol. I love it when people leave the ministry. I know that sounds crazy but let me explain. There are simply some people who are NOT suppose to be apart of the ministry and I want them to be where God wants them. There are also be people who will get offended, some will not agree with THE BIBLE (cause they still want to do a certain sin). You try to minister to them but sin is more important in their lives than serving Almighty. Of course, they will never admit that, they usually blame whatever it is on the pastor. No problem just leave and don't try to sow discord among the congregation. You see I have no problem with people who leave. As a matter of fact, I would love to "Thank them"! I have a problem with the ones who stay. The ones who stay knowing they don't want to be there. So I'm all for the EXODUS. We can continue to grow with solid people who love God, love our vision, love the leadership, and love people!

Vision night at tpic longview was great on Sunday. We had 8 new people show up for it. We cast the vision and the excitment was in the air. Everyone is coming back for our next monthly worship service on July 25th. We are believing for 50 to show up.

This Sunday was a super time at TPIC. TPIC longview is gaining momentum and the excitment is in the air for our Sept. 19th launch! The monthly services are working and really helping to get things structured and prepared for the launch. Our launch team is motivated and really standing with the vision. We went from 1 person to 20 and it's building up each month. Our goal for Sept. 19th is 100 people. God has also opened up for us to do morning services starting on Sept. 19th. We will go 11am services in longview on launch day.

Vision night will be held July 11th at 5 pm at the Wingate 431 NE loop 281, longview, Tx. We will have worship, vision casting, a volunteer campaign, and food and fellowship. Don't miss it! Be sure to invite your friends and family out to come hear about the church and see how they can partner with us on this faith journey.

A Desire To Connect

Have you ever wondered why we have this desire to connect with other people?

Facebook, Twitter, coffee shops, parties, family gatherings, date nights, hanging out with friends. These are just some of the experiences in our culture that people are drawn to. Have you ever wondered why you and I seek out activities like this?

To better answer that question, I want to ask you another question, “Have you ever experienced a time in your life when you weren’t connected with other people? For most people this is a very painful experience. Whether it involved the breakup of someone you were dating, a divorce, a separation of close friends, or in the most difficult case – the death of someone you loved. These experiences affect us to the core of who we are. The reason is that you and I were created for connection. We were created in God’s image to connect with God and other people. Whenever these connections are broken, we experience relational brokenness.

To understand why connection and community is important we have to think about God, God has always established and wanted a RELATIONSHIP with mankind (Adam and Eve) as well as the Host in Heaven. This means that God is relational and wants a relationship with HIS people today. Therefore, God has never been isolated from relationship. God has been living in and experiencing community throughout all eternity. So, we first have to understand that community and connection is rooted in who God is and his nature. Since we are created in God’s image, we are designed to live in community just as God does. In fact part of the miracle of God’s story is that he has invited us to join into the fellowship of the divine community. This is why community is so life giving. When you are in community you get to experience the fullness of life God intended for you.

This is one of the reasons TPIC exist. We understand that you are created to be connected relationally with other followers of Christ. This is foundational for our spiritual growth.

We want you to get connected by being a part of our Worship Service on Sundays @ 10 am. You have an opportunity to enjoy upbeat and passionate worship, relevant teaching you can understand and apply to your daily living, and great fellowship (before and after service) with other people just like you! We also have a Women's Small Group that meets on Wed. So, we encourage you to make plans to connect with TPIC this Sunday and live life the way God intended for you – in community!

The Palace

Awesome time Sunday! We finished the series "Don't unpack". We made it to the palace and discovered a few things that will happen when we get there.

1. It will be a place of Forgetfulness
2. It will be a place Fruitfulness. The fruit will help you forget the pain.
3. You will still have to work and use wisdom.
4. The same faith that got you there will keep you there!
5. It is a place of restoration. God will restore family relationships, marriages, friendships, etc.

Keep pushing until you reach your palace!
